The $13-a-bottle baker's dozens have been going mental of late, such that editions one through three have sold out. We think this one is even better than its predecessors - well worth a look!
You'll be getting three bottles apiece of Sieger's black fruited, old vine Barossa Shiraz, worth $50 a bottle; Karl's Scepter's Coonawarra Cab; 95 point old vine Shiraz from Red Deer and a lovely Yarra Shiraz as well. PLUS a bottle of Curtis Small Batch old vine McLaren Vale Shiraz. This has accrued scores at 95, 96, and 96 points and a couple of gold medals, too. RRP $100 a bottle! Learn More
Previous editions of '13 Bottles for 13 Bucks Apiece' have performed brilliantly, selling heaps, with a really high percentage of repeat orders. Fair call too, as they contained genuinely excellent wines at quaffing prices.
It's taken us a while, but we reckon we've upped the ante here, increasing the quality while retaining the original price point. This time you'll get three each of a delightful McLaren Cab blend, the magnificent $75-a-bottle Angas King Reserve Shiraz, Red Deer's 95-point old vine Shiraz, and a lovely organic Shiraz. The 13th bottle? Curtis' old vine, 96-point, $100-a-bottle Small Batch Shiraz.

20 bucks a bottle for a dozen superb Cabernets here. The Scepters, which are from the Coonawarra and Barossa respectively, are varietal and full-flavoured, showing a deft winemaking hand and concentrated fruit. Dowie Doole's flagship, the very limited Architect Cab, is a $90-a-bottle thriller from the stunning '21 vintage. Just settling into its bones, the quality and power of fruit is already in evidence. Decant or, better still, cellar for a bit - this is on the way to turning itself into something very special. The bonus? A bottle of Yaldara's $250-a-bottle Grand Cuvee Barossa Shiraz. It's big - as you'd expect - but the oak, while evident, is on a tight leash, allowing the glorious fruit to really shine. Definitely decant or pop it in the dungeon for five or 10 years. Learn More
It's been a mighty long time since we've offered an alternative whites doz.
No excuses; the last one sold really well, and this is overdue.
This is a cracking alternative white pack, featuring two Vermentinos, one of which scored 97 points from Halliday, a Fiano and a Chenin, which Kim Brebach described as the best Aussie Chenin he's ever had.
There's an awesome bonus too, in the form of First Creek's 96 point Murphy Sem. Two of these wines - the Halliday 96 and 97 pointers - were made by Liz Silkman, just crowned by James Halliday as his Winemaker of the Year! Learn More
A lovely, medium bodied, blue fruited and peppery Shiraz from the Yarra Valley. There are red fruits here too, specifically cranberry. The wine is soft and bright with good length. Great with charcuterie or perhaps a prosciutto pizza. Learn More
This is zippy and slightly textural sauv blanc which offers a lovely combo of greenery to go with the passionfruit and tropicals. All in all, there’s plenty going on with this wine for discerning savvy blanc fans. Learn More
Striking and concentrated lime dominates the aromatics here. The palate is powerful, with plenty of acid carrying the lime forward and across the length. A Riesling that really demands to be served with food.

The best vintage yet of this superb Monte from the Fleurieu Peninsula. A beautifully structured mid-weight wine. Powerful blue and black fruits, black cherry and bay leaf. Quite big by Monte standards with a decent lick of oak. Needs decanting to coax out the fruit suggesting that will be a long-lived wine.
