Bleasdale are perhaps the greatest producer of Malbec in Australia. They have produced Malbec since the late 1800s and since then have consistently accrued exceptional awards for their Malbec wines. This release already has three trophies, three top golds, three golds and a 96 from Halliday! Intense and generous, it offers blackberries, black olives, satsuma plums, porcini, cloves and spice on the nose. The palate is black and deeply flavoured; the fruit, acid and tannin perfectly balanced. It is excellent already and will cellar for a couple of decades. Learn More
Bleasdale has been growing Cab Franc for over a quarter of a century, but this is the first time it's been released as a standalone wine, and it is lovely. Medium bodied and spiced, with rose petal, red fruit and musk aromatics and flavours. Linear and crunchy, but with a generosity of flavour. Learn More
A casual 97 points from James Halliday! Oh, and four trophies and a 'stacks on' pile of golds and top gold medals. This is dense and complex, whilst also being taut and linear. Awesome now (post decanting), but will live for 20 years with careful cellaring, perhaps more. Red and black fruits here, with quality cedary spindles and exceptional length. Learn More
All about the red fruits and plum here, in a fluffy, lush, cuddly, generous and bubbly setting. There’s Christmas cakey spices and a hint of quince paste to boot. Lip smackingly delicious. Learn More
A brilliant, medium bodied, single vineyard temp with minimal oak influence. A wonderful red fruit and chocolate palate, complexity coming from the mix of red cherries, chocolate, supportive acidity and fine fruit tannins.

Bleasdale's Wellington Road GSM blend has only been in existence for a handful of years, but it draws on quality older vines from the estate as well as key growers. Offering vivid aromatics, it builds around a core of noticeable acidity and fine but plentiful tannins - a skeleton that promises longevity. That said, it's lovely already, with floral notes, jubey fruit, spice and more.

Aussie Merlot doesn’t get more complex or highly awarded than Irvine’s Grand Merlot, twice recipient of the best Merlot in the world award. Recent releases are even better structured and livelier thank the oldies, and we are confident the 2018 will improve for 10 years plus. The 2018 exceeds the power and complexity of the 2017 vintage, adding a rich sheen of plum and fig to the mix of violet, blueberry, dark chocolate and five spice. Excellent acidity and plenty of fine French oak here too. Decant for several hours before drinking.
